Italy Tightens Quarantine as It Battles World’s Deadliest Coronavirus Outbreak

MILAN—Italy further tightened its nationwide quarantine, shutting down almost all industrial production and offices, as the country struggles to contain the world’s deadliest coronavirus outbreak.

Only companies making what the government deems to be essential products can stay open, Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte said late Saturday.
