North Korea Blows Up Liaison Office With South

SEOUL—North Korea blew up an inter-Korean liaison office in the western border town of Kaesong, Seoul’s unification ministry said, as Pyongyang resumes a provocative stance while denuclearization talks with Washington remain gridlocked.

The jointly run office, which had been temporarily closed in late January over coronavirus fears, was destroyed at 2:49 p.m. local time Tuesday, the unification ministry said. It wasn’t immediately reported if anyone had been present at the site, which is wholly located in the North’s territory,…
